Our teams.
Customer Success Management
Our Customer Success Manager nurtures our relationships with our customers throughout the customer lifecycle, driving adoption of our solutions and continued investment in SPS Commerce through a deep understanding of customers’ business challenges and objectives. They are our primary customer relationship managers, and they actively engage other internal partners throughout SPS to solve customer problems and deliver on customer requests.
Human resources
The HR team supports the company’s growth by providing value-added services that positively impact SPS’s ability to attract, motivate and retain outstanding employees.
Marketing
Marketing –
The marketing team is responsible for defining, executing and scaling SPS Commerce’s marketing programs to support the company’s growth and presence in the retail industry.
Product Management –
The product management team defines and brings to market creative and innovative solutions and services that meet the evolving needs of our customers and partners.
Sales –
Our sales professionals work with suppliers, retailers, partners and third-party logistics (3PL) companies to grow SPS’s global network to more than 80,000 customers. Defined career paths provide outstanding growth opportunities within the following teams: Supplier Sales, Retail Sales, Channel Sales, Logistics Sales, Community Sales and Analytics Sales.
Support
Our Fulfillment Support Teams are responsible for assisting all customers utilizing SPS Commerce Fulfillment solutions once they are exchanging live data with their trading partner. This team helps customers identify problems, troubleshoot dataflow, communicate with their trading partners, and resolve issues. Big picture, Fulfillment Support navigates our customers through the use of our software solutions to meet their business needs.
Finance
The finance team is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, contract management, accounts payable/receivable and reporting for SPS Commerce.
Implementation
Our implementation experts are responsible for deploying SPS’s solutions and ensuring that all parties’ systems and data are ready to begin communication. Experts in these teams support our customers’ needs throughout the implementation process to ensure a successful integration. Career paths within Integrated Implementation, Retail Implementation, Partner Implementation, Mid-Market Implementation, Premier Implementation, Direct Network Implementation, Integrated Center of Excellence Implementation, or WebForms Implementation.
Technology
Technology Operations –
Our cloud engineers are responsible for maintaining the health and availability of SPS’s worldwide retail supply chain platform. The cloud team focuses on site reliability, application support and building our virtual network in Amazon Web Services. Engineers include: Network Engineers, Cloud Systems Engineers, Reliability Engineers, Cloud Automation and Deployment Engineers and Cloud Application Support.
Corporate Technology –
Our IT group keeps SPS’s growing organization running smoothly with a special focus on systems functionality, reliability and analytics for both our customers and employees.
Technology Development –
The development team is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SPS’s industry-leading suite of cloud-based supply chain services. Teams under Technology Development include Web Applications and Platform Development.
Security –
Our security team is focused on meeting federal standards and regulations for compliance such as HIPPA and SOX to secure our network and data, but especially for our customers. Given our virtual cloud environment it is important to ensure our trading partners are held to the same compliance standards and regulations.

“Get involved right away and don’t be afraid to ask questions. The more you ask, the more you will get out of your internship.”
What is your favorite aspect of your internship?
“Working with my team has been the best part of my internship by far. From the start, they made me feel welcomed and made sure to answer all of my questions with patience an even humor.”
