Food Logistics Names SPS to 2013 FL100
Food Logistics has names SPS to its 2013 FL100 for the fourth consecutive year. The annual list identifies leading software and technology providers that help food and beverage manufacturers, food service distributors and grocery retailers to better compete and become more efficient.
3PLs and carriers are important members of the SPS Commerce network. They leverage SPS logistics specialists and cloud-based services to connect with more than 50,000 retailers, grocers, brokers and distributors who are also part of the SPS network. Today, leading logistics organizations including Tigers Logistics, Logistix Worldwide and Logistics Edge, are relying on SPS Commerce to advance their business and their supply chains.
“The groundswell of interest in software and technology tools affirms the value associated with investing in solutions that boost visibility in the food and beverage supply chain, enhance collaboration, improve regulatory compliance and support sustainability goals,” remarks Lara L. Sowinski, Editor-in-Chief of Food Logistics. “New technology-related products and services combined with better affordability are leveling the playing field for a variety of food related companies, while supporting expansion of the cold chain into developed and emerging markets alike.”
The FL100 list is featured in the November/December 2013 issue of Food Logistics, as well as at www.foodlogistics.com.
