Sinds juli 2022 is e-facturering verplicht voor B2G-transacties.<\/p>\n<p>Australi\u00eb en Nieuw-Zeeland hebben gezamenlijk gewerkt aan het cre\u00ebren van de \u201cAustralia and New Zealand Government Electronic Invoicing Arrangement\u201d. Sinds juli 2022 is e-facturatie verplicht voor alle Australische overheidsinstanties, waarbij Peppol als het gekozen kader wordt gebruikt.<\/p>\n<p>In mei 2024 heeft de Australische regering $23,3 miljoen toegewezen voor het toezicht houden op en het beheren van het veilige e-facturatienetwerk over een periode van vier jaar. Deze beslissing is onderdeel van de overheidsstrategie om fraude te bestrijden en de digitale infrastructuur te versterken.<\/p>\n<p>Voorlopig wordt B2B e-facturatie nog besproken en wordt het breed aangemoedigd door de overheid, aangezien er jaarlijks meer dan 1,2 miljard facturen in Australi\u00eb worden uitgewisseld.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>De Australische Peppol Autoriteit<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>De ATO is de Australische Peppol autoriteit en bepaalt welke Peppol standaard gebruikt moet worden voor de GST (Good and Services Tax) belastingfacturen. Het is ook verantwoordelijk voor het selecteren en goedkeuren van Peppol-toegangspunten voor Australi\u00eb. Tot slot werken ze samen met providers en bedrijven om ervoor te zorgen dat het kader goed wordt ge\u00efmplementeerd en ook geschikt is voor de behoeften van iedereen.<\/p>\n<p>Op dit moment wordt de <a href=\"https:\/\/peppol.eu\/peppol-bis-billing-3-0\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/peppol.eu\/peppol-bis-billing-3-0\/\">PEPPOL BIS Billing 3.0<\/a> standaard gebruikt en heeft de ATO meer dan <a href=\"https:\/\/softwaredevelopers.ato.gov.au\/accreditation-Peppol-service-provider-register\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/softwaredevelopers.ato.gov.au\/accreditation-Peppol-service-provider-register\">40 Peppol Access Points<\/a> geaccrediteerd.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Hoe e-factureren in Australi\u00eb<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Bedrijven moeten zich registreren bij het Peppol-netwerk om aan e-facturatie te kunnen doen. Ze hebben verschillende opties: hun bestaande e-facturatiesoftware gebruiken, een nieuwe dienstverlener kiezen of een online oplossing vinden.<\/p>\n<p>Het goede nieuws is dat SPS Commerce al een vertrouwd Peppol toegangspunt is voor Australi\u00eb en Nieuw-Zeeland!<\/p>\n<p>Houd er rekening mee dat een e-factuur net als een papieren factuur is. Hij moet een aantal gegevens bevatten, zoals de ABN (Australian Business Number), de datum en het totaalbedrag. Het enige verschil zit in de manier waarop de factuur wordt verzonden, in dit geval via het beveiligde netwerk Peppol.<\/p>\n<p>Voorlopig moeten e-facturen 5 jaar worden gearchiveerd. Nogmaals, voor elektronische facturen gelden dezelfde regels als voor papieren facturen, wat betekent dat ze moeten voldoen aan de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ato.gov.au\/businesses-and-organisations\/preparing-lodging-and-paying\/record-keeping-for-business\/overview-of-record-keeping-rules-for-business#Fiverulesforrecordkeeping\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.ato.gov.au\/businesses-and-organisations\/preparing-lodging-and-paying\/record-keeping-for-business\/overview-of-record-keeping-rules-for-business#Fiverulesforrecordkeeping\">&#8220;Vijf regels voor het bijhouden van gegevens&#8221;<\/a>, zoals het opslaan van gegevens op een manier die voorkomt dat de informatie wordt gewijzigd.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Specifieke kenmerken van staten en gebieden<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Sinds 1 juli 2022 vallen B2G-transacties onder het e-facturatiemandaat.
